Personal Best Health and Fitness is based in Uffculme (5 minutes from M5 junction 27) and offers Personal Training out of my studio or as a mobile service within a 30 minute drive radius.

 

Areas covered include Uffculme, Stenhill, Bradfield, Craddock, Culmstock, Hemyock, Clayhidon, Churchinford, Willand, Cullompton, Bradninch, Blackborough, Tiverton, Bolham, Wellington, Nynehead, Ashill, Kentisbeare, Dunkeswell, Halberton, Sampford Peverell, Clyst Hydon.

 

For those short on time, I can come to you bringing all of the equipment you need for your workout, including stability balls, free weights, kettlebells, resistance trainers, boxing pads and gloves as well as cardio training aids such as speed ladders and steps.  This saves you time travelling and keeps your workout strictly to one hour.  I can turn pretty much any space into a mini gym with my portable equipment so we can train in your home or if you prefer to be outside, in your garden or local park.

 

Within my Uffculme studio I have all of the above equipment aswell as a squat rack, barbells and a range of free weights.  So whatever your preference and needs in terms of location, there is a solution to suit you.

 

 

Before we embark on your programme I initially carry out a free consultation to discuss your goals and how I can help.  I will then carry out a range of fitness tests during the first session to ensure you are fit and well to start exercising, to give us some data to track your progress and to enable a programme to be designed to specifically meet your goals and needs.

 

Fitness testing includes;

  • Blood pressure
  • Body composition
  • Weight and Body Mass Index
  • Cardiovascular and muscular strength testing
  • Posture and range of movement assessment

 

At the consultation we will agree your goals and what you hope to achieve from the programme.  Following the first session, a report detailing your fitness testing results and goals summary will then be sent to you.  I conduct goals review and re-testing on a six weekly basis to ensure you are on track.

 

In terms of training, it will be hard work and I will push you to get you to your desired goals but it will also be fun and the exercises varied.  All programmes are individually tailored and designed to be safe, effective but also enjoyable, so your PT session will be a bit of ‘you time’ to look forward to.
